General Information: The CGPSC exam process includes:
1.Preliminary Exam: Two objective-type papers on general studies and aptitude.
2.Mains Exam: Consists of seven papers covering a wide range of subjects, including languages, essay writing, general studies, and specialized topics.
3.Interview: Final stage where candidates are assessed on their personality, knowledge, and suitability for public service.
The posts available through CGPSC include Deputy Collector, DSP, and other Class I and II positions, with salaries ranging from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1, 77,500. Candidates from the general category are allowed 4 attempts, with more relaxations for other categories.
