About Haryana: Haryana, located in northern India, is renowned for its rich cultural legacy and agricultural wealth. The state is famous for... its historical sites like Kurukshetra, where the epic battle of Mahabharata is said to have taken place. Haryana is also a significant contributor to Indian classical music and dance. Economically, Haryana is one of India's most prosperous states, with a strong agricultural base, particularly in the production of wheat and dairy products. The state bird is the Black Francolin, while the state mammal is the Blackbuck. Haryana is a state that balances tradition with modernity. It is a leading state in terms of sports, particularly wrestling and boxing, with many of India's top athletes hailing from here. The state's economy is bolstered by its proximity to the national capital, Delhi, and it is a key player in India's automotive and IT industries.

Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC): The HPSC is in charge of administering civil service examinations and hiring applicants for various administrative jobs within the state. Established in 1966, the commission is headquartered in Panchkula.

General Information: The HPSC examination process includes:

1.Preliminary Exam: This consists of objective-type questions on general studies.
2.Mains Exam: Contains multiple papers, including General Studies, Essay, and optional subjects.
3.Interview: The last stage involves evaluating candidates' expertise, charisma, and aptitude for public service.

Positions offered through HPSC include Deputy Collector, DSP, and other administrative roles, with salaries ranging from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1, 77,500. There is no limitation on the number of attempts but the age limit is there, it should be in between (18- 42years).
The syllabus covers a broad range of subjects, including history, culture, geography, polity, economy, and current events, with a special focus on Haryana's agricultural economy and industrial growth.

Programme Overview: Haryana Public Service Commission has scheduled the HCS (Executive Branch) & Other Allied Services Prelims exam on 11 February 2024. Chahal IAS offers a test series designed to help you pass the HPSC exam, especially the Preliminary round. The series includes a structured study plan, includes past year questions from HPSC, and questions on current affairs about Haryana state. The best thing is that you can start taking tests immediately after enrolling, and you can retake them as many times as you want to improve your score. The Full Length tests are designed by experts based on the latest HPSC question patterns and keeping in mind the demands of the HPSC question paper.

Programme Aim: The HPSC Preliminary Examination has its unique demands as HPSC is looking to seek out serious aspirants for Haryana State services. This test series prepares you for this unique challenge by allowing you to improve your efficiency. The Preliminary Examination has two papers, firstly the General Studies Paper I which tests knowledge of subjects like economy, polity, history. Second, the General Studies Paper II which assesses reasoning, numerical and language abilities upto class X level. This Aptitude Test paper is only of qualifying nature where you need to get 33% marks only. The questions format is a multiple choice one with 5 options. This is the challenging part as in the Union Public Services Civil Services Exam that most people prepare for, there are only 4 options. So it is important that you learn to eliminate options out of 5 while also keeping in mind the negative marking. This requires extensive practice which you can achieve by giving our tests.

Programme Objectives: The Prelims Stage is the toughest as many students appear for the exam, however most get eliminated. Your General Studies Paper I copy will only be checked if you secure 33% marks in the CSAT Aptitude Test Paper. It is really important to focus and develop the right strategy for the Preliminary Stage as otherwise you will have to retake the examination only after a year. Our HPSC HCS Test series will help you bridge the gap between your preparation and the demands of the examination. You will be able to accurately eliminate and isolate the right option. Because the HPSC examination is not just about knowledge, but also the skill of answering MCQs.

PROGRAM APPROACH of HPSC Test Series:

We have a scientific approach of setting our papers where syllabus is optimally divided, questions are asked on basic and application based level, and current affairs are inbuilt in the questions. A proportionate weightage is given to including difficult to easy questions based on the past year questions. This will help aspirants to understand their weaknesses and strengths. This also allows students to improve their scoring ability in the Prelims Test.
